The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes in all Central Universities and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges across the country. The CUET (U.G)-2023 is scheduled to be held from May 21 to June 08, 2023 in three slots.
Exam city intimation – CUET U.G 2023
The NTA has announced the city of examination for CUET (U.G)-2023 for the candidates who have registered for the examination scheduled on June 05 to 08, 2023. The candidates can check their allotted exam city by logging into the official website of CUET (U.G)-2023 using their application number and date of birth. The candidates are advised to download and print their exam city intimation letter for future reference.
CUET U.G 2023 Admit card release
The NTA will release the admit card for CUET (U.G)-2023 for the examination scheduled on June 05 to 08, 2023 on May 31, 2023. The candidates can download their admit card from the official website of CUET (U.G)-2023 by entering their application number and date of birth. The admit card will contain important details such as exam date, time, venue, roll number, instructions, etc. The candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center on the day of the exam.
Exam pattern and syllabus
The CUET (U.G)-2023 will be conducted in three slots. The duration of the first slot is 120 minutes and the duration of the second slot is 120 minutes. The duration of the CUET (U.G) exam for the third slot is 180 minutes . The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions based on languages/domain-specific subjects. The marking scheme and marks distribution will vary according to the programme applied for by the candidate. The syllabus for CUET (U.G)-2023 will be based on the Class XII curriculum of CBSE or equivalent boards. CUET U.G 2023 – Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for CUET (U.G)-2023 will depend on the programme and university applied for by the candidate. The candidates must have passed or appeared in Class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the respective university. The candidates must also appear in CUET (U.G)-2023 in the languages/domain-specific subjects in which they are appearing/have passed in Class XII. For admission to University of Delhi, it is mandatory for the candidate to appear in CUET (U.G) – 2023 in those subjects in which s (he) is appearing/has passed Class XII . Result and counselling
The result of CUET (U.G)-2023 will be declared by NTA on June 20, 2023 on the official website of CUET (U.G)-2023 . The candidates can check their score and rank by entering their application number and date of birth. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in CUET (U.G)-2023. The counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted by the respective universities based on their own admission criteria and availability of seats. The candidates will have to participate in the online/offline counselling process as per the schedule and guidelines notified by the respective universities.
