In accordance with S.0.364 of 2020, dated: 27-11-2020, applications are being accepted from qualified candidates for employment against the positions listed in “Annexure A” on an academic arrangement basis, initially for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years (subject to good performance and conduct), or until the selection/promotion is made in accordance with the recruitment rules governing the respective posts, whichever comes first.

The deadline for completely filled-out online applications is April 29, 2023.
All required prescribed/requisite documents must be uploaded by candidates along with their online application forms. The applicant’s application form or candidature may be rejected without further notice if the mandatory prescribed/requisite papers are not uploaded with the online application form.
Selection mode:
The mode of selection will be a written test, the dates and format of which will be announced on the official website of GMC Handwara in the event that the number of applicants for any advertised position exceeds five times the number of advertised openings. (www.gmchandwara.co.in)
Candidates must submit a printed copy of their online application form, generated at https://www.newgmesrecruitment.in/medicalcollegeother/, along with a bank draught for Rs 200 made out only to the Principal of the Government Medical College, Handwara from JK Bank, to the office of the Principal of the Government Medical College, Handwara.
Terms and Conditions:
Candidates for the positions must be no older than 63 years old as of the notice’s issuing date.
The appointment made in accordance with these guidelines does not grant the appointee any preference in future normal appointments.
When a regular appointed candidate is chosen and placed on a regular basis by the appropriate authorities, the academic arrangement will end. The candidate with the lowest merit on the shortlist will be let go first.
At the time of joining, the chosen applicants must file an affidavit stating that they would not quit the institution before the end of their one-year contract.
Candidate currently employed may not apply.
The GMC Handwara administration retains the right, at any moment throughout the recruiting process, without previous notice to the candidates, to increase or decrease the above-mentioned number of openings indicated against each post.
Candidates are encouraged not to provide any fake information or omit any important details. Candidates who are found guilty will not be permitted to apply for the next two years.
