JK Reports 48 Fresh Covid-19 Cases

SRINAGAR: According to officials, 48 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in Jammu and Kashmir, despite the fact that no one has died from the virus in the previous day.

According to them, 39 instances from the Kashmir Valley and nine from the Jammu division brought the total to 479,879. There are 305,718 cases from the Kashmir Valley and 174,161 cases from the Jammu division.

Ten cases were recorded from Srinagar, seven from Baramulla, six from Jammu, six from Kulgam, four from Ganderbal, two from Pulwama, and one each from Udhampur, Ramban, Reasi, Kupwara, Anantnag, and Bandipora, according to information provided by the authorities on a district-by-district basis.

During this time, there were no fatalities in the Kashmir Valley or Jammu. 4,786 individuals have died as a result of the virus so far, including 2,353 from the Valley and 2,433 from the Jammu division.

In addition, they added, 13 COVID-19 patients—one from the Jammu division and 12 from the Kashmir Valley—recovered during the course of the last 24 hours. 191 cases are now active, with 43 in Jammu and 148 in Kashmir. (GNS)
